Dear Every One:
How are things going so far this new year?
I am standing by.
It still feels as a baby does, tender, and not yet developed.
It is quite a haunting feeling, especially with the snow covering everywhere, as it has been lately. It calls to me and reminds me of you daily. You are in my thoughts.
We're in the middle of a terrible storm, from which I hope we will recover soon.
Years ago, we had blizzards. Those, too, were terrible times to endure for all.
I think the children were the only ones who were elated.
I still want to be like that, yearning for snow and the fun that accompanies it, but
then I feel a twinge of guilt and compassion, because it is a hardship that people have to endure in time.
I hope that the opposite time zones, where you may be, are normal at any rate.
Contact me when you can. Drop me a line if you are unusually busy.
Thanks.
Yours,
JolChechi (Jolmol..etc )

Facebook Friends
Dear Family Facebook Friends:
I think this site is an easier method of connecting with you.
Trying to deliver messages through my parents or other family works at times, but then you have to ask if they ever said anything. Then there is the delay of knowing just what happened to the person in question. Time flies, as you know. :)
I was telling Melody the other day that I had a photo of her at ten, and the next time I am in touch with her, she is a grown up lady. Anyway, I love her photos, no matter what age she is. :)
I had a bit of conflict last time Daisy and I tried to meet at my parent's. It was mainly that my parents hadn't been expecting me. Normally, we can drop by unexpectedly, but these days, they are so super - busy with church and guests, that I think my showing up may interfere a bit with scheduling.
I usually talk to them a whole lot because of other schedules, too. It all has to do with appointments, going and coming back, and there is always a new one. So, an extra visit to their house seems like just one more appointment to handle. It must be a lot for them. So, I want to give them a break from that.
I especially am interested in keeping in touch with Alix now, because she misses all of you right now so much. I hope that she will have more opportunities some day to visit and have fun with everyone.
Today, I find myself undecided on breakfast. I may opt for a Kerala breakfast after all. Mummy gave me Indian coffee to brew. ( ;) ) It's called "Bru." Nice new brand for me, here, anyway. The cousins and uncles who can outfit me with other brands are all in India now. That is maddening, because I had just found the "kadas," and was planning to shop there. Anyway, we will have more people who will someday own one as a hobby, besides all the other work that all of us are doing everywhere. :)
Sigh! Is there a stress center for all of us out there?!
lol...
Bye for now!
~ Jollymol
P.S. Someone, anyone, please send my mom and dad some halvah and other goodies like a college survival pack or something! I miss Kerala food! :) The only thing I can find around here is "athaca" and even then, it is not good like any of our parent's creations at all. Aunty from Pune sent me a book of cooking, but I haven't tried anything from there yet! I'll let you know of my successes and failures with cooking soon enough!

Hi to All!
I was privileged to see Dais' again. She was helpful to me when I wasn't feeling well. She drove me to my Mom and Dad's even when I had no energy to travel. She stayed for a bit, but then had to get back to study.
She is going through sleepless nights as well. Please pray that she will get some rest also.
Your FB pages continue to rock!
Today, Alix's page on that famous YT wedding march made me smile. I had seen that on television during a program on humorous videos from You Tube.
Is she planning nuptials or organizing for someone?
Sounds fun, but she says that we all need to practice the moves.
Knowing me, I'll trip on a fold of the rug or be late for my queue.
I think Finny may visit also sometime, if time permits.
Mat breezed through Chicago with no time to stop by recently.
Tournaments and other obligations! :)
If you can keep busy, that's good for the family also.
Constructive activities..in my case, I feel as if I am a resident aide at my building. If I leave for a second, some irresponsible person causes trouble and makes us all return for no reason.
I think they cause problems in the building to gip us and make us pay for their mistakes when we are gone.
Rude people in IL, family..that's why!
More soon,
JolChech.!

Saw at least
Hi all!
I was able to see at least one cousin and family face to face. (Labor Day holiday :) )
I was a bit sleepy, and it was late, but we all managed to meet.
It is very difficult with everyone's schedules to get a meeting arranged.
My mom suggests that when going back (to wherever), get to the airport even
earlier than you want to, or there's trouble.
Sigh!
Lateness does put a damper on things and makes you want to travel less.
I hope they were able to return to work on time.
I think this is why no one wants to visit these parts because of those long
lines at the air port and all.
Anyway, everyone, please keep in touch on Facebook or by email.
Thanks!!!

Yay!
Dear Family:
Everywhere, where'er you are this afternoon, happy holiday!!!
Today, I am enjoying a quiet morning.
Last night, I was awake until 5am.
I am surprised I was able to get up this morning, but I did.
I waited for a while until I got the stamina to walk about. I didn't want to fall
on the street like the last time.
I thought I had beat insomnia, but now there are uneducated people with no manners in my building who don't respect other people's schedules or have any consideration for them. They have a baby, too, and when the baby cries, no one talks to the child or comforts it. The baby is quieter than they are.
I think they are bank robbers or something like that, because when they hear that someone calls the police, they are immediately quiet and run out the door soon after.
Then I hear loud, roaring motorcyles driving away.
They know they are doing something wrong, because they immediately stop what they are doing. One night, I heard a woman saying, (cackling, rather)"Ha, Ha, Ha, I got that lady up!"
They never take their shoes off in the home and stomp around all night long also. They drop things onto the floor and talk loudly on their cell phones.
Do you believe this type of people exists in the states? What kind of jobs or occupations do they hold? Bus drivers, pilots...or some job where they endanger other people by not getting any sleep?!
Do they make mistakes at work by not sleeping, either?
It is sad, that this country has people who bring down the quality of life and living for others when they are about.
I am hoping that where you are, you have people with nice manners and courtesy toward their fellow beings.
Anyway, I have been invited for lunch, so that is pretty good. It will make up for another sleepless night.
This year, I will count how many days I did not sleep well because of these people.
I will multiply that with 365 days, and then figure out how many hours of sleep they depleted and how many days of work I missed because of this forced (induced) insomnia. This includes work I could have done at home also.
These people do not learn any manners at school or elsewhere.
Then the same type of people ask me for a date and etc...and then they say I am racist when I say no.
Would you want to go out with someone who does not value your sleep or others' sleep?
That is an easy no.
:)
Bye for now...
Next, I have to teach the police to do their jobs to stop disturbance of the peace.
They don't teach them that at police school for some reason.
I have such a busy life, 24/7.
:)
Bye for now!

Those reading right now...
Hello to all dear ones!
I think we should all join Twitter or use blackberry phones or the like for live updates from this blog!
Okay, just kidding! :)
Yay! "Dais" 's in town. That's one of the cousins! :)
If you want to say hi, I guess you have to connect with my mummy and dad.
I try to be an excellent mediator, but all this new technology has been trying to me and my health ( not to mention) daily routine. I am trying to catch up, though.
So, don't worry!
We will all have to coordinate a conference call soon via Skype or the like, eh?!
Just kidding, again!
Sigh...mostly, I need more of an exciting life to live in real time with everyone else.
All I have done that was super, super exciting today has been drinking coffee ( & trying to find a rendition of "God Save the Queen?!" )
Well, not to play on the piano.
I do have contacts who play, and so I think I don't need to run to get a book in the library or anything for now.
I hope we all connect in the myriad of possibilites out there, no matter what our choices are today.
Okay, then, signing off!
You all have lovely facebook pages!!!!!!!!!! (BTW)

Cousins!
Today is a relatively quiet day as I write.
The sun is out, and people are about here. Families are walking about with children.
The month will be good for outings before the school season starts.
How is everyone?
I am reading some of your pages on social network sites. I am glad to have found them.
It was really a hassle trying to locate people and emails for the year.
Facebook or MySpace may be much easier to follow.
I hope that you will stay in touch here with me and everyone.
Bye for now!
Have a wonderful day and week!
~ J.
P.S. One of the cousins is visiting in IL.
I have yet to meet her and her family. She will email me when the time nears. I hope you will also get a chance to speak with her or write to her. Other news is that some of the children are making news on the news or on You Tube. I hear from Mom and Dad that some children are following sports and are making melodies online.
Wonderful hobbies! :)
All of you have to find Facebook pages to read all about it!
I am glad all of you have interesting lives. Otherwise, this blog wouldn't be fun to read! :)
